We are proud to announce the availability of two new archival collections through the ONU Archives! Finding aids for both the Office of Multicultural Development Records and the ONU Student Organizations Records can now be viewed at: https://archives.onu.edu
Both collections provide important insights into the history of diversity at ONU through the documentation of voices and actions from diverse students, faculty, and staff. It is our hope that both collections will continue to grow as we continue our documentation efforts.
Materials from both collections can be viewed by anyone interested via the ONU Archives. The Archives maintains public hours throughout the semester from 1:00-4:00 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and welcomes scheduled appointments for other times.
We are also thankful that the work for these collections was supported in part by an award from the Ohio Historical Records Advisory Board, through funding from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC), National Archives and Records Administration.Additional support was provided by ONU's Office of Multicultural Development (OMD), and through these collaborative efforts, current ONU students took the lead in transferring, appraising, researching, and making available over fifteen linear feet of unique historical materials.
