This week's Feature Friday is a new member to Dining Services: Jon Skonieczny 🌟
Jon has been with us in Dining Services for a month and a half now and is the McIntosh Dining Supervisor. In his free time he enjoys cooking and collecting/listening to vinyl records. Jon can be typically be found at any of the stations in the dining hall so stop by and say hi.
Dont forget that there are cards available by the cashier's area as well to leave kind notes for the Feature Friday or any Dining Services employee who made your day!

Feature Friday is a way for us to showcase one of the many employees we have here at ONU Dining Services. The showcase can be found on the wall after the cashier's counter.
The first Feature Friday for fall semester is Kim Hunnaman. Kim has been with Dining Services for 9 years. In her free time she enjoys watching movies.
Kim works behind the scenes as one of the cooks in the Dining Hall. If you would like to tell her 'thank you' or just write a kind note, feel free to do so in the provided THX cards in the basket below the showcase board.
We had a great turnout for the smoothie bowl event on August 28th with Dietitian Kristen Totino. Be sure to keep an eye out for more fun events in the Dining Hall and other university dining locations this semester!
Simple Zone is a second allergen-friendly addition to ONU Dining Services in the dining hall. Located by 360 Grill, this zone is a no gluten and no nut station where items such as fresh bread, bagels, desserts, cereals, and premade meals are available for students with food allergies. There is also a Simple Zone specific freezer, fridge and microwave available for students to use for allergen-free items.

Here are the ONU Dining Services hours of operation for fall semester. Please note that only one meal plan swipe can be used per meal time at the Dining Hall and WOW. The 24-hour Polar C-Store is available 24/7 for students to purchase food and snacks with Dining Dollars, Polar Points, credit or debit.

Starbucks on Main is your destination for the Pink Dringk, a blend of tropical flavors and real strawberry pieces. There's also the Dragon Drink with mango flavors and real dragonfruit pieces. The pumpkin party has started! Your favorites are back and destined to delight, starting with the beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte. Last but certainly not least to round out Meet the Team we have WOW Cafe Supervisor Elizabeth 'Liz' Shellabarger. She supervises in the afternoon and closing at WOW.

The last two weeks have been event filled to help round out this semester. All events had a great turnout and we look forward to holding many more events next year!
Last week we held a soft pretzel sale in WOW, sold Oreo Cookie Milkshakes at Northern Lights, a pop-up Boba Blast Float in the Dining Hall and we rounded out the week with an end of the year BBQ Picnic & ice cream toppings bar.
This week we held three late night events which included a late night breakfast with SPC bingo where students could win fun prizes, an ice cream social and we rounded finals week out with a late-night coffee & cookies event at Northern Lights in Heterick Memorial Library.
Last week, we rounded out the month of April with a North America feature in the Global Street Foods celebration. ONU's Chef Rob featured his famous Braised Beef Street Tacos.
We welcomed the month of May with guest Chef David Seaton creating a special meal to welcome Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. The menu included Pineapple Fried Rice, Asian BBQ Pork Bahn Mi Sandwich & crispy Oyster Mushroom Tacos with Asian Slaw.
Both events had a great turnout and we are looking forward to more events this week!
