Our students played for the residents of Heather Hills yesterday at our outreach performance! We also had an adult student recital at the studio that I forgot to take more pictures of! Congrats to all our students on their beautiful performances this past weekend and thanks to all the teachers for their hard work!

Congrats to our students who performed throughout seven Halloween recitals today (I only got pictures from the. 12pm, 1pm, 4pm, 5pm and 6pm) and thanks to the faculty for all their hard work in pulling it off! Beautiful performances!

Welcome to our amazing voice instructor Lindsey! Lindsey O’Donnell holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance degree from Grand Valley State University, where she was the 2025 recipient of the Excellence in a Discipline Award for music. She has completed additional training at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria.
Lindsey has several years of teaching experience with singers of all ages and abilities, and she enjoys helping students build solid technique that can apply across genres, develop musicality and stage presence, and learn practical ways to maintain vocal health. When not singing or teaching, Lindsey enjoys traveling, reading, and learning German!

Jacob Michael DePalma is a saxophonist, clarinetist, and music educator based in Lansing, Michigan. Born in Syracuse, New York, Mr. DePalma holds a Bachelor of Arts in music education and a Certificate in Saxophone Performance from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam. He also recently finished a Master of Music in Music Education at Eastern Washington University.
Mr. DePalma currently holds an elementary general music teaching position at Lowell Area Schools. He greatly enjoys performing jazz, contemporary classical music, and selections from musical theatre. Outside of music, Mr. DePalma enjoys cooking, spending time in nature, and the company of his loved ones.

What a whirlwind weekend! Four spring recitals at St Cecilia Friday night, adult recital Saturday afternoon, then five more spring recitals at St Cecilia Sunday (I only got a few group pictures.) Congratulations to all our students who had beautiful performances and thank you to all the teachers for all their hard work behind the scenes.

Welcome to our wonderful new piano instructor! Qiaorong Wang is a pianist, music theorist and dedicated educator with a passion for teaching young musicians.
As a performer, she has served as a piano accompanist for vocalists and instrumentalists, and as a ranat ek player in a Thai music ensemble. As an educator, she has taught aural skills and music theory at the college level and has many years of experience providing piano lessons to children of various ages and learning styles.
Qiaorong holds two master’s degrees in Music Theory and Piano Performance from Kent State University and Ball State University. She combines her academic training with a nurturing, student-centered approach that helps children build strong musical foundations while enjoying the learning process.
