π Please pick up all county 4-H Fair Exhibits and premium checks on Monday. We must clear out the Convention Center for upcoming events. Will be open during the lunch hour.
If you have State Fair bound exhibits, please complete the exhibit release and paid 4-H enrollment by 5pm on Monday, August 26. Thanks to everyone that have already completed both! State Fair bound exhibits remain at the Extension Office but you may pick up the blue ribbons. Fresh baked Food Science exhibits and horticulture exhibits should be brought to the office no later than Tuesday, Sept 10 by 2pm.
It was a great turnout for the Fair. We'll see you next year! Thank you!

Thursday night at 7:00pm we'll be recognizing all of the local club royalty candidates and announce the 2024-25 4-H Royalty. The location will be in the Convention Center. This is a change from the outside stage. Maybe a little cooler for everyone! So, come out and support all the candidates! π The traditional State Fair Bound Sneak Peek! Convention Center opens at 3p on Thursday. If you have state fair bound indoor 4-H exhibits, stop by the 4-H exhibit area and complete a state fair exhibit release. You must complete this and also be enrolled for the 2024-25 4-H year by Monday, August 26.
π Pre-entered 4-H exhibits need to be dropped of today from 3-7p @ Convention Center. We will not be doing any onsite entries. Those were due August 9.

π We have a couple of times available to work the County Fair 4-H promotion booth. We're handing out balloons and selling $1 popcorn to benefit the Change For Change - Children's Health Foundation State 4-H Service Project. This is a great community service opportunity for all 4-H members. Last year we raised almost $500. If your club is already signed up, check with your 4-H leader about working during that time.

The $20 enrollment fee must be paid online (this is the fastest way to complete enrollment) or by cash/check. Fees not paid within 30 days sends the enrollment back to inactive status.
County Fair: If you are new and want to participate in the County Fair. Get enrolled. If you are a returning 4-H member your enrollment is valid through the County Fair but you need to enroll as soon as possible. The 2024-25 deadline to enroll is September 26. This includes all 4-H events and activities and livestock shows.
