⭐ Jog-A-Thon Appreciation Post! ⭐

Our Jog-A-Thon was a huge success, and we have so many amazing people to thank!

🏴‍☠️ Our incredible secretary, Kenda Daniel– thank you for creating the beautiful balloon arch that welcomed everyone in style!

🏴‍☠️ The Byng Pirate and Byng Cheerleaders – you brought so much energy and excitement! Our kids absolutely loved having you cheer them on.

🥁 The Chickasaw Nation Drum Crew – thank you for keeping our kids running with the perfect beat! Your steady tempo kept those little legs moving and spirits high.

🍎 Our staff and teachers – you gave more than just your time. Thank you for donating items, working tirelessly, and helping make this event run smoothly from start to finish. You truly go above and beyond.

❤️ Our amazing parents and guardians– thank you for cheering on your little pirates, helping them collect donations, and supporting our school every step of the way. We couldn’t do this without you!

🏴‍☠️ Taylor Hall Manuel for all the behind the scenes work… lining up food trucks, creating the class flags, gathering balloon arch supplies, lining up Laney for her amazing sign. Your hard work is greatly appreciated!!

🤣 Fun Update: Due to very high interest in taping Ms. Boyd to the wall, we’ve officially extended the donation deadline to December 5th! Keep that momentum going!

Yesterday, our students were treated to an incredible presentation from a group of talented Native singers and dancers!

MiWese Greenwood shared traditional songs and drumming, filling our gym with beautiful rhythm and meaning. Keilyn Ahni, Madison Switch Fixico, and Akhyka Pewo captivated our students with demonstrations of several dance styles, including old style jingle, hoop dance, fancy shawl, and men’s fancy.

We are so grateful for their willingness to share their culture, talent, and traditions with our students. A special thank-you as well to Lori Switch, who served as our wonderful emcee!
