My daycare has been providing a safe and loving place for children since 2005, and was founded by myself, Lisa Harden, a parent of four wonderful children. I have created a unique family environment for your children to play, grow and learn. My daycare works hard to stay posted on the most up-to-date teaching methods. I am constantly changing the curriculum but maintain basic methods that are believed to nurture children’s learning. The methods are exemplified in the activities we do with the kids. Such activities are in the fields of:
-Art
-Science
-Movement
-Music
-Outdoor play
-Sense related activities (smell, sight, feel)

I like kids to learn by doing things themselves and provide them with an endless amount of enthusiasm as well as tools to explore with. The daycare is filled with toys, games, musical instruments, books and computers. The Early Beginnings Preschool Program is taught within the daycare. It was developed and written by Dr. Melissa MacNeal who holds a doctorate in Early Childhood Education. It is a program designed to teach your child important preschool concepts and skills that they will need when they enter school. This program includes hands-on learning activities reinforcing the numbers, colors and the alphabet; hands on art and craft projects that encourages your child's creativity and self-expression; small and large motor development; music and movement activities; sciences discoveries; and stimulating language activities utilizing flannel board stories, rhymes, poems and fingerplays. Each day your child will bring home their special art project or activity paper to share with you. You will also receive a monthly parent newsletter explaining the activities and the themes for the month that your child will be doing.
