Cornerstone Preparatory Academy

The meals packed by our Cornerstone elementary families have officially left the Feed the Hunger warehouse and are on their way to Tamale, Ghana!

Please join us in praying for safe travels across the sea and a smooth customs process as these meals make their journey.

Through our partnership with Feed the Hunger, these meals will help provide nourishment to children in some of the most remote and underserved areas of Ghana, where more than 7,000 students are fed each week. Each meal not only meets a physical need but also creates opportunities for children to hear the hope of the Gospel.

Thank you, Cornerstone families, for serving with generous hearts and helping make an impact that reaches far beyond our campus. We are grateful to be part of what God is doing around the world through your hands and faithfulness.

Valedictorian Benjamin Ostell will be attending Georgia Institute of Technology and will major in Electrical Engineering.

Salutatorian Julia Kim will be attending Georgia Institute of Technology and will major in Aerospace Engineering.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring Peter Pan Jr. to life! It truly takes an incredible team, from students and directors to volunteers, families, and staff, to pull off a production like this, and we are so grateful for every hand that played a part.

We are still hooked on all the memories from our journey to Neverland with our amazing Musical Theatre Company. What a joy it was to watch our students shine on stage and transport us into the world of Peter Pan!

A heartfelt thank you to our Cornerstone families for supporting our Fine Arts program and enjoying some delicious treats Scoops Acworth during our performances. Because of your support, we raised just over $100 to go directly toward future productions that continue to inspire and grow our students’ gifts.

With just a few days until graduation, we are excited to announce students from our graduating class of 2026 and their plans after graduation. 🎓

Youth are often awarded for their scholastic achievements, but The American Legion believes they should also be praised when they demonstrate strong qualities of character and good citizenship. That's why, since 1926, the Legion has recognized such students with its School Award Medal Program.

The senior who receives the medal must exemplify six qualities that define character: courage, honor, leadership, patriotism, scholarship, and service.

Cornerstone senior Zach Philbeck received this year's American Legion Award, presented by Captain Chuck Polk.

Even though the setup was different this year, the 2026 Volleyball Bash did not disappoint. We had three teams participating, and the competition was over-the-top with the teams being evenly matched. 🏐

The first game was between the Blue and Black teams. Scores were tight, but the Blue team came out on top. Next, the White team took the dub over the Black team. The third game became the championship game with both the Blue and White teams entering the competition undefeated.

Who would get the "W" and be crowned the 2026 Volleyball Bash Kings of the Court?

After a hard-fought battle of diving saves and elevated hits, the Blue team was victorious!!

What started as a simple opportunity grew into something only God could piece together, bringing together so many of our Cornerstone families in a way that points straight back to Him.

For over 50 years, the University of Georgia has recognized outstanding students across the state through the Georgia Certificate of Merit Program. This honor is awarded to students who rank in the top 5% of their junior class.

We’re so grateful for every student, parent, and volunteer who showed up ready to serve. God is using this community in powerful ways to reach far beyond our campus.

As one partner in Ghana shared, "the meals are bringing joy to hungry children and blessing the marginalized and isolated.”
