Congregation Beth Elohim (CBE) Early Learning Center Located in Acton, MA, CBE Early Learning Center is a Hidden Gem in the Heart of Acton. We are an ear Social-emotional and cognitive development go hand in hand.

CBE ELC is committed to educating your child in an engaging environment where learning is sparked by children’s curiosity. The program's blend of both Judaic and secular experiences fosters excitement, pride, love for learning and Jewish values, and provides children with a unique education. We strive to nurture each child’s development, provide them with opportunities to grow as emergent learners, and to build community amongst our families and professional staff. Research shows that children thrive when they are given opportunities to play and learn in a warm and stimulating environment. We believe that each child is unique in their learning and that each child’s abilities and interests should be supported. Every individual has something special to contribute to the classroom community and will grow and learn through guided exploration and play. Our classrooms and play spaces have an abundance of interesting and diverse materials that spark creativity, imagination, and learning. The learning of your children is well documented and presented in both the classroom environment and in portfolio assessment. Our team will help your child to understand and express his or her emotions and feel a part of a classroom community. We hope to nurture the whole child as they explore our diverse curriculum, learning about mathematical thinking, literacy, experimentation and social skills through music, art, movement, and play. As a synagogue early learning center, our program is influenced by Jewish values on a daily basis. Children will learn concepts such as tzedakah (helping those in need) and derech eretz (being a member of a community) along with celebrating the rich traditions of our multicultural families.

Thank you to everyone for coming to our Family Fun Day/10 Year Celebration! Special thank yous to Susan Perry and Merly Albert our 2 previous directors who attended. Also, special thank yous to Rabbi Mintz and Naomi, Rabbi David, and Beth for coming. Finally, thank you to Detective Penny of Acton PD, Jenny the Juggler, Rick Raddo, Animal Craze, Twin Bros rentals, and the Acton Fire Department for helping to make it such a successful and fun day! We are looking forward to next year!

The Concord and Concord-Carlisle SEPAC, Carlisle SEPAC, Willard PTG, Alcott PTG, Thoreau PTG & CMS PTG invites the community to a free presentation by Dr. Ross Greene. Dr. Greene is a clinical psychologist and a New York Times bestselling author whose influential work is known around the world.

He is well known for developing the model of care -- Collaborative and Proactive Solutions -- that helps parents, guardians and teachers solve problems and build collaborative relationships with the children in their care.

In his most recent book, Raising Human Beings, he explains how to cultivate a better parent/guardian-child relationship while also nurturing empathy, honesty, resilience and independence.
