Mt. Calvary Christian School, Acton, MA

We had Big Joe the Storyteller come visit and share his wonderful stories with us. The children were engaged and there was so much laughter. What a great enrichment program to end the school year.

A little behind posting but our TK class and both 4's classes took the big yellow bus to the Acton Arboretum to go on a scavenger hunt and learn about plants and flowers there. They enjoyed having a snack there as well before heading back to school.

We are growing and we are looking for an assistant teacher for our TK program that is Monday-Thursday 8:30-12:15. Then during our afternoon stay and play program we are looking for a teacher to work Monday-Thursday 11:45-4:00.

We had author Diane Root yesterday to share her story of Solomon Sir and the Fabulous Fib. Diane shared a wonderful presentation with her book about telling the truth. Diane is passionate about building character development and we were so lucky to have her visit.

Another fun week in our Parent/Toddler class. We talked about Earth Day and made our own earths with watercolors and coffee filters.

We love making our own playdough! Nice spring colors, now Mother Nature needs to cooperate.

We had a wonderful morning at our annual pancake breakfast to bring our whole school together. We had a blast making flower petals and having Ms. Jenny share her music with us.
We had some yummy pancakes with delicious toppings of fresh strawberries and blueberries and of course some chocolate chips.

Already making plans for next year! Thank you to all our teachers for spending their Saturday morning with our families. And a big thank you to our families for spending your morning with us to come together for our special Mt. Calvary Preschool family.
