Any word yet on our yearbooks??
Here is a message from the Principal:
I wanted to let you know our district’s plan for addressing the current COVID-19 situation.
Mindful of the challenges this public health concern presents, we are committed to working with medical professionals, administrative personnel, and local and national resources. To this end we are endeavoring to maintain a highly responsive yet carefully measured stance in our approach.
While the unfolding developments are highly fluid, as of the writing of this email we continue to maintain our standard operations with the following precautions:
Large gatherings such as assemblies have been canceled or postponed. (athletic events are not impacted at this point)
Additional hand sanitizer stations will be installed in the
cafeteria and at the entrance of the school.
Antibacterial wipes and gloves are available in all classrooms and meeting areas
There are some basic things that we can all do to protect ourselves and to minimize communal spread of infectious diseases such as colds, flu and the novel coronavirus. I encourage you to have conversations with your children at home to help them to adapt as appropriate to these helpful habits and practices. To be proactive please follow the habits below:
Stay home when you are sick.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
We have attached some links on our website with recommendations from the California Department of Health and other entities. As circumstances evolve, we will continue to be in regular communication with you.
Please make sure the school has your most current phone number and address, so that you receive all updates.
The health and safety of our children will always be our priority. Thank you so much for your patience.

Hi guys. As of today, Meadowlark only has around 400 votes. Let's pass this link on to as many as we can and get the votes out for our school!
Our local schools are competing to win $10,000 towards reading programs and STEAM. Click on the attached link and vote for Meadowlark, in Acton, CA once a day until March 22. As of today, Meadowlark only has upwards of 400 votes, while other schools have over 7,000. Share this link with your family, friends, total strangers, add it to a cute cat YouTube video...Let's get the word out to help get this funding for Meadowlark and High Desert.
You can vote once per day. The first time you vote, you have to watch a very short informational video on college savings programs. That's the only time you need to watch the video. You will have to confirm your email address for the vote to count.
ASMO is competing for a $10,000 grant to fund Meadowlark Elementary's music program and future expansion to High Desert Middle School and Vasquez High School. Please vote for our school every day between now and March 23rd at
www.myscholardollars.com and help us secure these funds! One vote per email, per day. Our kids thank you!
