A summer stay & play tradition is to participate in the Acton Coop Olympics. It was a huge success with everyone trying their best and winning a gold medal! 🥇
A huge thank you to the teachers for creating such a wonderful week full of fun activities for the children to enjoy!

A hot day at Summer Stay and Play demands plenty of water-based fun. One child exclaimed, “Yes, the water park is open!” The children also participated in various creative activities, including painting with squirters, bubble wrap painting, and painting fireworks, finishing off the day with a cool treat – popsicles!

The Acton Cooperative School had another day filled with summer fun! The children were thrilled to make giant bubbles. It was another perfect day for mud-making activities!

Summer Stay & Play fun! The children enjoyed using the water pumps to make mud in the sandbox and tuff tray. They also created nature sculptures and collaborated on a large-scale group art project by working together to roll balloons in paint. They had so much fun!

The Summer stay & Play program is always so much fun! This morning's outdoor art activity featured painting with pine cones and glittery paint. The children explored different techniques: dotting, rolling, drawing, etc.

The last day of school for the Bee class was celebrated with a wonderful field trip to the Silver Unicorn Bookstore. A big thank you to Paul and Megan! 📚

We are grateful for visits from our alumni. A kindergartener visited today and taught the Fireflies a lesson on watercolor painting, which was a huge success with the children. They absolutely loved it! 🎨🫟🖌️

Acton Coop/ West Acton Shopping Day!

This Wednesday- May 20th,
we will hold our annual West Acton Village Shopping day! We are partnering up with some of our neighbors in West Acton Village for a day of dining, shopping, and community. These businesses have generously agreed to donate a portion of their sales during specific times to the Coop.

You must mention you are supporting the Acton Cooperative School and shop within each business's given time for us to receive a portion of the sales.
