A great opportunity to connect with other new moms and get support

Do you have a new baby at home? Are you feeling lonely or stressed or wondering if what your baby is doing is normal? We have a group for you! (And if you have a new baby and you're not feeling stressed, come to group and tell everyone your secret! 😅)

Parents in the postpartum year, whether with your first baby or your third, can join this FREE weekly group to get support for their own emotional wellbeing, recovery and transition into parenthood; baby’s development; feeding and sleep support; and community resources. Our First Year of Life Support Group meets on Thursday mornings at 9:30. The group is facilitated by Emily Fiorini, MA and meets on Zoom 3 weeks of the month and in person once a month.

Email Emily at [email protected] with questions, for the Zoom link, or to register for the in-person meetings.

Does your baby seem uncomfortable or struggle with gas. Infant Massage can help, contact me if you are interested in learning more about my classes.

Colic can be tough on both babies and caregivers. No parent wants to see their baby in pain, and it's stressful to watch prolonged periods of crying without knowing what you can do.

Luckily, gentle infant massage can help. Certain strokes can help improve digestion and make it easier for a baby to pass trapped gas. It's a relief for the baby to feel more comfortable and safe, and it's a relief for parents to know they were able to have an impact. As caregivers, when we have actionable steps ready for us to improve our children's lives, we feel more empowered and connected.

Is mealtime a battle in your house? 😫 Are you worried your child is becoming a picky eater, and you don't know what to do about it? Join Pediatric Occupational Therapist on Zoom on Wednesday Oct 25 to learn what you can do, and whether your child might need some further support.

Email Linda at [email protected] to register and receive the Zoom link.

"Picky" eating phases or patterns typically begin between ages 1 and 3, and can feel tricky to manage alone. Picky eating doesn't usually go away on its own, and may require parents to really work at it through changes to routines, food presentation or expectations. With the priority of safe and joyful mealtime experiences, there are many supports that can help prevent the dinner table from turning into a battleground. The role of the parent, child and environment in feeding will be defined. Anna will give an overview of the spectrum of picky eating behaviors, strategies to prevent and respond to picky eating, and let us know when a more formal evaluation might be called for.
