WOW! What a fun and engaging two weeks we’ve had at our Summer Program! Huge shout out to our staff, guest speakers, field trip locations, and parents who made this all possible. Our students learned so much while being able to experience culture, build skills, strengthen friendships, and laugh – a lot! Hope everyone has a great summer; see you back on August 10th!

School is OUT for summer! Woo hoo! We are buzzing about our Summer Program starting on Monday, jam-packed with amazing field trips, guest speakers, hands-on activities, and more! Can’t wait to see everyone there, and then enjoy a rejuvenating summer before school starts back on August 10th!

Happy Graduation to our Class of 2026!! As we reflect on the many years of growth, overcoming challenges, laughter, and heartwarming moments with each of these students, we feel so proud of them while also knowing how incredibly much we will miss them! They have each been such an integral part of the BLA family and will always have a home here. We can’t wait to cheer them on in their next chapter!

Another incredible thing that happened at our talent show yesterday is that 4WWL news came out to do another story on our student, Oliver Brasseaux, that highlighted Brighthouse Learning Academy and our twice exceptional students! The BLA Talent Show had a smashing return this year with students and staff showing off their many remarkable talents! From singing and musical performances, to comedy skits and card tricks, it was a day of pure fun and delightful entertainment!

Relax and reset over Mother’s Day weekend at the Mom’s Day Out retreat hosted by the Rare Blooms Foundation! This foundation supports families is raising neurodivergent and special needs children, and has incredible opportunities to connect and get support in the community!
