Last night's Saint Bridget School PTO fundraiser was a huge success! The event space at 10th District Brewing Company was the perfect setting to host our Speakeasy Knight Club event. Dana, the owner, and his staff were so accommodating to all of the guests and vendors. Everyone enjoyed a delicious spread of themed appetizers, sliders and desserts served by Lizz from Homestead Harvest. The Speakeasy theme was brought to the next level thanks to the generosity of John from Orphan Car Garage when he parked a beautifully restored 1929 Ford Model A woody wagon right out front! We can't thank Dana, Lizz and John enough for their contributions to a great event and successful fundraiser.

Honoring Our Heroes this Veterans Day

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served in our armed forces. At Saint Bridget School, we are grateful for the sacrifices made by our veterans, which allow us to enjoy the freedoms we hold dear.

Although we have the day off, we encourage our students and families to take a moment to reflect on the importance of this day. Here are a few ways you can show your appreciation:

Write a Thank You Note: Encourage your child to write a note or draw a picture for a veteran they know or for local veteran organizations. A simple message of gratitude can make a big impact!

Learn Together: Explore stories about local veterans or historical figures who have served. Discuss their contributions and the significance of their sacrifices.

Participate in Community Events: Check out local parades or events honoring veterans. Joining as a family can foster a sense of community and respect.

Moments of Silence: Take a moment of silence at 11 AM to honor those who have served and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Now that Halloween is over, let’s start thinking about the holidays! We’re thrilled to announce our new event: Advent After Dark 🌠

Kids are invited to join us for a special evening featuring a blessing by Father Adrian, sing-a-long with our school choir, followed by a movie screening of The Star in Parish Hall. 🎬
