Congratulations to our students who were recognized at Tuesday's annual Districtwide Awards Ceremony, celebrating student achievement in visual and performing arts, world language, mathematics, English Language Arts and more. The event also served as an opportunity to showcase student artwork in celebration of the Semiquincentennial.

The Stingrays showed their Phillies pride for their June team activity! Students participated in a spirit wear contest during Advisory and were able to watch the Phillies game together in the afternoon. Congratulations to Mrs. Barrett's advisory for winning the spirit contest!

Students who met the school’s Safe, Responsible, and Kind behavior expectations for the spring got to attend the SRK Carnival. There were games, prizes, music and live music for the students to enjoy. A fun time was had by all. Thank you to the parent volunteers and PTO donations that helped make this event possible.

The AMS Yearbook, the Compass is here!
Students who ordered a yearbook will receive it in their Monday first period classes. If you didn't order a yearbook-there's still time. Cash sales ($40 cash or check made payable to AMS) will take place in the Little Theater Lobby on June 10 & 11 from 9:30am-10am.
Special thanks to the AMS Compass Yearbook staff for their work in taking photos, designing pages, creating innovative ideas and making this our best yearbook yet!

The Middle School Modern Music Makers (M4) Bands had their final performance today at the AMS SRK Carnivals. The Modern Music Makers enjoyed entertaining audiences across the region in performances at the Talent show, Valentines, M3 Winter Jam, the Reading Phillies and more.
Students wishing to audition for next year's bands should pay attention to announcements in the fall. Students wishing to learn or practice a rock instrument can also listen out for our jam sessions that happen throughout the year as well.

On Friday, the 6th Grade Sharks hosted their first annual Shark Olympics. Students had a blast as each home room competed in ‘Olympic’ games. Congrats to Dr. Hurm’s winning team!!

Ms. Walker's 8th Grade Digital Music Class enjoyed a guest lecture from M3 Director and Music Production Teacher, Mr. Kevin Longwill. Mr. Longwill did a brief demonstration on the different musical elements that come together in a digital production., highlighting advanced technical aspects and offering insights into the music industry.
