Congratulations to the newest member of the Abington School Committee, Pam! Thank you to everyone who supported me (and those who didn't, you kept it interesting 😂) the past 3 years. It was my honor to serve the people of Abington. Hard to believe our 15 years in the schools will be over in a month when our youngest graduates!

I am proud that Abington Public Schools are, and will remain safe spaces for all students, (but especially for those who are the most marginalized and vulnerable), to learn and hopefully thrive. I am extremely grateful for programs such as GSA and GEM that give LGBTQ+ students an outlet to talk to others and feel empowered to live their best authentic lives.

So grateful to SRO Heal for introducing Harlow, the new APD therapy dog in training to the kids this week. He and the other therapy dogs have brought great comfort during a incredibly hard week. Harlow will be a permanent fixture at the school.. Photo credit: Nurse LaPointe
