Patriot Day carries extra meaning this year as we mark 25 years since September 11, 2001.

A whole generation has grown up since that morning, yet many memories still feel close enough to reach out and touch. The silence after the news broke. Handwritten notes left on counters at churches and fire stations. Flags hanging from porches long after September ended.

Fear filled that day, yet so did reminders of how quickly strangers became neighbors. Meals showed up without asking, and phones kept ringing just to make sure someone was okay.

Patriot Day gives communities a chance to pause, remember the lives lost, and honor the courage that carried so many people forward afterward. A lot can change in 25 years. Care for one another still matters just as much. 🇺🇸

Work shapes every community, and Labor Day gives everyone a moment to recognize the effort of workers past and present who helped build what we rely on today. The holiday started more than a century ago as a way to recognize the people who kept cities growing and businesses moving. The celebration stuck because a day set aside for rest feels both practical and well deserved. If you’re able to take a breather today, enjoy it, and if work is still on the schedule, know that your contribution matters just as much. Happy Labor Day!
