Dyess Elementary PTA PTO-Where our military community & Abilene come together to support students, teachers, faculty & meaningful moments.

We create connection, celebrate kids & build community. ✈️ Today's PTA is comprised of members who shared a commitment to making a difference in the education, health and safety of all children. It is an organization that promoted collaboration among parents, the school, and the community. Your children are important to you and they are important to us! Children will learn more and perform better in school when parents are involved in their education and of course our children all enjoy having the support of their family members.

What a FIN-tastic night! 🐠🍿💙

A huge THANK YOU to all of our Dyess Elementary families who came out for our Finding Nemo Movie Night! We loved seeing everyone gathered together, enjoying pizza, popcorn, yummy treats, and a little movie magic under the sea. 🐟🌊

We are so thankful for this amazing community and for every family who continues to support our PTO and make these special moments possible. We can’t wait to get everyone together again soon for even more fun!

We’ve got a FUN month ahead, and we don’t want you to miss a thing! From our first FREE Family Movie Night to the kickoff of our biggest fundraiser of the year, there are lots of ways to get involved and support our Dyess family! 🥰

🎬 9/11: FREE Movie Night + PTO Meeting | 5–7 PM
💰 9/14: COOP Fundraiser Begins
🍗 9/15: Spirit Night at Raising Cane’s
🍎 9/25: Treat Friday
🇺🇸 9/7: No School — Labor Day

COOP helps make so many of the amazing events, activities, and experiences our PTO provides throughout the year possible. We are SO grateful for every family who supports us!

Unfortunately we have to cancel the Tears and Cheers breakfast we had planned for parents for tomorrow morning at drop off. We hope all of your kiddos have the BEST first day tomorrow and know we’ll be crying with you in spirit 😅 Luckily we have the most AMAZING teachers and know all of our kids are in wonderful hands at Dyess Elementary ❤️✈️💙

What a night! We absolutely loved seeing so many old friends and welcoming so many new faces to the Dyess PTO family! 🥰

Because of PTO members like YOU, we’re able to do things like provide FREE T-shirts for every student during Field Day, support teachers and classrooms, bring fun family events to campus, and so much more!

Your kids mean the world to us, and we are so grateful to be part of their journey!
