This past week Amanda, Erica, and Emily from ACU Special Collections and Archives had the opportunity to attend the Society of Southwest Archivists annual meeting in Waco! Amanda and Erica collaborated with archivists from Baylor on a presentation about Archival Debt, and Emily created a poster about Archiving Memories. An exciting opportunity to grow professionally and connect with others in the field! Huge thanks to everyone from SSA and Baylor for putting this event together!

Field trip! Todd Womble’s Archival Research class normally meets in our Special Collections reading room, but today they got to visit the Wittliff Collection at Texas State University and research there. Archivists Erica Pye and Emily Thompson tagged along to explore the archive too. Huge thanks to Texas State for welcoming our class!
