[02/21/18]   FFA BREAKFAST IS CANCELLED:

After talking with some concerned parents & administration, we have decided to cancel the FFA Appreciation Breakfast. We will be choosing a new date for sometime in March and sending out new invitations. Sorry for any inconveniences, but we do not want kids driving on icy roads at 5am. The rest of the week’s weather forecast doesn’t look like it will get much better.

Thank you for your understanding.

[02/20/18]   Due to poor road conditions, our FFA Breakfast has been postponed until Wednesday (tomorrow). If you are someone this affects, see you tomorrow instead! Thank you!

As of right now, we have a 40-45% chance of freezing rain throughout the night. {IF} road conditions become dangerous, causing a school delay or cancellation, the FFA Breakfast will also be cancelled. This will only apply if the school district calls a cancellation or delay. If the weather does not affect normal school hours, breakfast will occur!

In the case of breakfast cancelling, it will be rescheduled for Wednesday, February 21st from 6:30am - 8:00am. The general format of breakfast will remain the same. Please pass this along to whomever it may concern. Thank you for your help!

Last Wednesday Abilene FFA members participated in the North Central District Poultry and Milk Quality CDEs. The senior poultry team placed 2nd of 19 teams. J. Schwarz placed 1st overall (out of 163!) and R. Volkman placed 3rd overall. The senior milk quality team placed 5th overall. Congratulations to all members who participated!

FFA Alumni Members & Parents VS FFA Members!

If you would like to join our Alumni, please come join us for this event. It's always a fun time. :)

To say we're proud would be an understatement! This beautiful girl, our FFA Vice President, was nominated as a Homecoming Queen candidate. She is a true leader and someone anyone can look up to. She is hard-working, loyal and as sweet as they come. What I love about her most though is her unwavering love for the Lord. In today's world, it's difficult to find kids that stand for what they believe in no matter what, but she does just that! Congratulations, Emma Lou! We love you ❤️ Charity Omli Bathurst
