Calling all new members! Alpha Chi's National Office is hosting a virtual induction ceremony for students who joined in the 2023-24 academic year.

Whether you missed your chapter's induction ceremony or you wish to be recognized on the national stage, join us on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝟳:𝟯𝟬 𝗣𝗠 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲. We had a great time in Birmingham, Alabama at the National Alpha Chi Convention. Several members won awards and our chapter was recognized for the success of our sock drive. Thank you to everyone who donated (we won a big sock)! Now, I am trying to convince Dr. Huddleston to hang it up in her office😂

Double Congratulations to Conner Crawford! He was just named a Fulbright Scholar for 2023-2024. He will be an English Teaching Assistant in Kyrgyzstan. Also, he was recently awarded the Alpha Chi Honor Society Dr. Patricia Williams Chapter Member of the Year for our chapter. Conner served as Vice President for our chapter for one semester and then as President for the next five semesters. We are proud of you Conner!

Emma Harper was part of our ACU Alpha Chi Honor Society delegation that went to the convention in Albuquerque, NM, a few weeks ago. She presented her research featured in this Optimist article at the convention.

We are in Albuquerque, NM, for the national convention, and it’s off to a great start! Region I scholarship winners were announced last night. Two of the three recipients are ACU students. ACU students are Ashlee Reed and Johnni Fuller. In the picture, Ashlee is with the other winner, Noah del Angel, from Texas State University.

Another congratulations is in order. Skye Gill received the news while in the van to the convention that she has been awarded a Fulbright scholarship!
