Zingara Music Studio - Jeanine Wheeler I'm now offering piano and trumpet lessons and music therapy services in West Texas -- your home or mine!

Jeanine has taught piano and trumpet in the greater Lexington area since arriving in Kentucky in August 2006. After earning her degrees in music education and music therapy, Jeanine taught piano privately, music and other subjects in parochial schools, and worked as a music therapist in Galveston, TX, and Lansing, MI. In both places, as in Virginia, she performed extensively, as both a soloist and a chamber musician. Since coming to Kentucky, she has taught piano, trumpet, and early childhood music with the Music Institute, as well as building a music therapy program here.

That’s a wrap for Spring 2026! So proud of all my students - nine superiors at festivals, second and third place at solo contest, and five theory medals, in addition to a whole lot of good music making. Can’t wait to see everybody in June!
