We are so proud of the positive impact our teachers in Abilene ISD are making in the lives of their students. At the end of April we recognized both outstanding elementary and secondary campus teachers as well as those in secondary math/science. Thank you to Mr. Ed Jennings, Jr., Abilene Teachers Federal Credit Union, & Uniqu3 Solutions for making the evening and awards possible. Check out the articles being written by Tim Chipp on all five finalists! Just awesome. :)

Thank you to everyone who gave to AEF during Abilene Gives. We had 59 donors (many brand new) and raised $6,059 to help students and teachers in Abilene ISD. Wow, what an amazing day. THANK YOU! :)

When the weather gets a little better, the children will be loving it. What a fun way for our littlest ones to use their imaginations, experience, pretend, and just act possible scenarios out on the tricycle trail, letting them create their own travel story."

We are so proud of Ms. Roberts 6th grade class Mann Middle School in Abilene ISD for their project on empathy! Last September Ms. Roberts wrote a grant for a full class set of the book "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio with accompanying audible version. Today's activity included student self-portraits based off the cover art. Then they added an inspirational quote followed by the students' interpretation of what the quote meant to them. We loved hearing what inspires them to be kind to others.

The COOL Program had a special guest on their college tour to UT Arlington! Josh Rader, UTA graduate and AEF board member, met up with the group and shared his experience during his time at UTA. #AEFCOOL
