Premier High School - Abilene Tuition-free public charter school serving grades 9-12 At Premier High School, the success of our students is what matters most.

Some students need a new opportunity, while others seek an individualized educational approach that is not offered by traditional schools. Whether a student has fallen behind or simply wants to get ahead, our true learner-based environment program is designed to ensure that they learn and succeed. Premier High School’s personalized approach to learning allows students to work at their own level of understanding and rate of learning, regardless of age or grade level. We also allow the student to control the pace of his or her learning and allow the teacher to focus on the specific needs of that individual student. Based on an initial evaluation, teachers will create a personalized academic program uniquely tailored to meet your student’s needs. Premier High School is a campus of ResponsiveEd® and is accredited with the Texas Education Agency as a public school designed to provide an effective, research-based education for our students. The learning systems models of ResponsiveEd are accredited with AdvancED™.

🤠 Parade Day in Abilene! 🎉

What a Saturday! Our Premier High School of Abilene students and staff had a blast participating in the West Texas Fair & Rodeo Parade on Saturday, September 12! 🎡

We loved getting out into the community, showing off our school spirit, and celebrating one of Abilene’s favorite traditions together.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, walked with us, cheered us on, and helped make the day so much fun! We’re proud of our students and staff for representing Premier High School and TexasWorks of Abilene!

Congrats to our first Pigeon Of The Month Award recipient, Mr. Armstrong!!! This is his first year with PHS Abilene / TXW Abilene, and he is already getting awards.

What our staff has to say about Mr. Armstrong:

-He has embraced the ideals of being a high school teacher with gusto. He has a positive attitude and is willing to learn. He has also been able to socialize with our quirky staff and hold his own. Bravo Mr. Armstrong!!

-Mr. Armstrong has been so awesome with the kids and is such a fun and bright presence in the front office. I am so happy he is on our team and love the energy he brings every day.

-Mr. Armstrong goes above and beyond. Learning our new systems with humor and patience.

We are so lucky he has joined our team and look forward to the great year that is ahead of us.
