Cisco College Nursing is proud to have received a JET Grant through the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC)! 🎉

This funding is helping us enhance our simulation labs with more high-fidelity mannequins, simulation equipment, and essential resources to provide our nursing students with more realistic, hands-on learning experiences.

💙 **This is more than an investment in equipment. It is an investment in our students and the future of nursing in West Texas.**

**What happens when you put nursing educators, cutting-edge simulation, and a little fun together? You get Cisco College Nursing at SimTech Up 2026! **

Our Simulation nursing faculty are in Lubbock at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, learning new simulation strategies, exploring innovative technology, and gaining hands-on tools they can bring straight back to our students.

And this isn't just professional development. **It directly impacts how our students learn.**

The skills and ideas our faculty are gaining will help us create more realistic clinical experiences, strengthen critical thinking, build confidence, and better prepare our students to step into real-world patient care.

When our faculty continue to learn, our students get a better learning experience. And when our students are better prepared, our communities have better-prepared nurses. 💙

We are proud of our faculty for investing in themselves so they can continue investing in the next generation of nurses!

🚀 What a GREAT opportunity for kids to explore STEM! 🔬🧪💻

Children ages 5–15 can participate in fun, hands-on activities focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Each session is limited to 15 children, and an adult is required to participate.

It's that time to get back to the classroom. Professor Laws has a whole new schedule.

We are aware that some students are experiencing issues related to enrollment and student email access, and we understand how important it is to have these services working properly.

Cisco College is currently in the final stages of a major software conversion, and our teams are actively working to resolve the remaining issues as quickly as possible.

🎉 Congratulations to our August 2026 Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Cohort! 🎉

What an incredible milestone! Yesterday, this outstanding group completed their final exams and are now preparing for the next step on their journey, the NCLEX-RN.

Over the past year, they have demonstrated dedication, resilience, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and know they are ready to become the next generation of registered nurses.

🎉 Congratulations to our Vocational Nursing Class of August 2026! 🎉

What an incredible day for this amazing group! Today they completed their final exams and are now turning their focus to the NCLEX-PN. This has been such a fun, energetic class, and it has been a joy to watch them grow into confident, compassionate future nurses. They even managed to talk some of the faculty into wearing their glasses! 😎😊

Strong communities begin with investing in local people.

We had a fantastic evening with the Winters ISD community sharing the many healthcare education opportunities available through Cisco College! Dr. Merritt and Dr. Woody enjoyed visiting with students, parents, educators, and community members about our Certified Medication Assistant (CMA), Phlebotomy, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Mental Health Technician, Dual Credit LVN, Vocational Nursing (LVN), and Registered Nursing (RN) programs.

Thank you for the invitation. We are excited to continue building partnerships with Winters ISD and other rural communities to create pathways into rewarding healthcare careers while strengthening the healthcare workforce across our region. Together, we're preparing the next generation of compassionate caregivers!
