The Little Ike Educators visited the Kindergarten and 1st graders today and they taught about paratroopers in World War II. The students listened to a book, played with a big parachute, and each got their own paratrooper toy.

This month we announced after much anticipation that our Blue Ridge cook, Ms. Britany, is having a baby GIRL! Congratulations to the Zumbrunn family!

Today, during the Little Ike’s Program, the students enjoyed the rocket activities & learned that President Eisenhower initiated the Space Program.
Second and third graders had a chance to try out their STEM skills during a Little Ike Story Time visit. They designed a coffee cup holder to keep General Eisenhower’s coffee steady and his notebook dry while driving in his Jeep. Always a treat when they visit our classroom!
