As this week begins and early voting is wrapping up, I’ve found myself reflecting on just how much Wylie means to my family.

Both Sutton and Bradlee began their school journeys in private school before transitioning into Wylie ISD. Like any parent, I had concerns about how that transition would go — but from day one, they were welcomed with open arms, making what could have been a difficult change feel seamless.

Wylie became home for them quickly — not just a school, but a community.

For Bradlee, that support has meant even more. With her dyslexia and challenges in the classroom, Wylie’s special education program and incredible educators have helped her grow, gain confidence, and truly succeed — both academically and personally.

As a mom, that means everything.

Experiences like these are why I care so deeply about our schools and why I am committed to continuing to serve our community.

Putting in the work and rewarding myself with some shed 🙂

As this campaign season continues, I want to take a moment to say thank you for the encouragement, conversations, and support. Serving on the Wylie ISD School Board has been a privilege, and I remain deeply committed to our students, families, and educators.

For over 16 years, Wylie has been home to my family. As a mom to Sutton and Bradlee, and the wife of a Wylie graduate, I care deeply about the future of our schools because they directly impact the children and families in our community.

In addition to serving on the board, I have been actively involved in Wylie through multiple volunteer roles, working alongside many of you to make our community strong. I believe strong schools are built through collaboration, transparency, and keeping students at the center of every decision.

I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving and working to ensure Wylie ISD remains a place where students can learn, grow, and succeed.
