What a start! Day 1 of the Title I, Part A Fall Program Meeting was packed with energy, collaboration, and bright new sparks of innovation. ✨

Yesterday, 49 dedicated ESC staff members from across Texas gathered to kick off three days of impactful professional learning!

Our shared focus: strengthening collaboration, clarifying roles, & aligning supports to better serve our districts and elevate student outcomes.

A special shoutout to Vicki Hayhurst for presenting on Region 14’s R-PEP work in partnership with TEA and EPPB. The presentation highlighted how strong rural partnerships can expand access to high-quality college and career pathways by aligning local districts, higher education institutions, and regional employers.

🎉 What an incredible two days! The Region 9 & 14 Child Nutrition Summer Workshop was a huge success!

More than 200 Child Nutrition professionals filled the conference center at Region 14 ESC North on June 28th and 29th for learning, collaboration, laughter, and, of course, delicious food! 🍎🥗

From "Food Production Records" to "Smart Snacks," attendees gained valuable insights, practical strategies, and resources they can take back to their schools to make the upcoming school year a success.

On behalf of the planning team, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the outstanding guest presenters from Region 9, 16, 17, and 18 for sharing their expertise and helping make this workshop such a memorable and impactful experience.

On July 29–30, a dedicated group of educators tackled Domains I, II, and III head-on to prepare for the ESL Supplemental exam. From language acquisition theories to family engagement strategies, these teachers are officially ready to crush test day. 🌟
