Sign-Ups Open for ACU Tailgate at Texas Tech - Abilene Christian Athletics Registration is now open for Abilene Christian's official football tailgate and hang-out before the Wildcats take on Texas Tech in Lubbock on Saturday, Sept. 5.

Abilene Christian University Athletics honors the life and career of Dr. Charles Ivey ('65), professor emeritus and founding chair of the physics department at ACU.

Dr. Ivey was a tremendous supporter of the Wildcats and a constant presence at ACU games and athletic events. He died recently at age 82.
