The goal of Little Feet Big Steps daycare is that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, education, exploration and discovery. The purpose of Little Feet Big Steps is to provide children with a variety of enriching learning experiences that will prepare him/her for school - all within a loving home environment. Little Feet Big Steps will provide an atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth through the children’s play and small group instruction. The curriculum includes dramatic play, creative art activities, music, science activities, block play, sensory experiences, daily outdoor activities, the celebration of birthdays, and holidays. Children will be exposed to shapes, colors, numbers, and letters through developmentally appropriate activities taught using small group instruction. Since preschoolers learn best through their play, the daycare is set up around the “centers” concept. This allows for freedom of movement with a variety of teacher-directed and self-directed activities. The result is a relaxed, stress-free environment where learning can take place🤍
