Open enrollment for new dancers 4 years old and up is now open for the 2026-2027 season. At Ballet Folklorico De Alvaro Munoz Academy Dance Group, our mission is to inspire and empower people through dance. We believe that dance is a powerful tool for self-expression and a way to connect with others. We strive to create a supportive and inclusive community where dancers of all levels can grow and thrive.
CLASSES

We offer a variety of classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced.
Beginner's Class: Saturday & Sunday 8:30AM-10AM
Intermediate/Advance Class: Saturday 10AM-8:30PM
Intermediate/Advance Class: Sunday 10AM-4PM
Our classes are taught by experienced and passionate instructors who will help you improve your skills and achieve your goals.

📣 WTS Folklorico Dance Competition Update Announcement 📣

Due to unforeseen venue-related circumstances beyond our control, the 2nd annual West Texas State Folklorico Competition has been rescheduled.

✨ NEW CONTEST DATES:
🗓 January 22-24, 2027

✨ UPDATED REGISTRATION DEADLINE TO PARTICIPATE:
📝 Saturday, December 19, 2026

We have personally contacted every Director of all participating groups; our Guest Judges and informed everyone of the situation and everyone has been very understanding and supportive. We are thrilled that 99% of the participating groups that were registered have reassured us that they will be attending the new set date of the competition and ALL of our guest judges have also agreed and reconfirmed of their participation in judging our competition in January. We are so grateful and thankful to everyone.

We are also actively working with our host hotel to make the necessary updates and adjustments to our room block information.

With the new timeline in place, we will continue accepting new groups, schools and contest entries through the updated registration deadline links which have been updated to December19, 2026. We have updated all registration links on our website: www.balletfolkloricodealvaromunozacademy.org and have updated Rules and guidelines with new cut off dates.

We appreciate your patience, flexibility, and continued support as we move forward with the safety of all participants, groups and attendees as it is our TOP priority. We look forward to welcoming you all in the new year.💃🏽

SIN FRONTERAS SPECTACULAR SHOW TICKETS GO ON SALE ON JULY 1ST.

when purchasing your tickets to support the group. A portion of the ticket proceeds go back to our organization as as an opportunity for a fundraiser for our group. But you must use the code in order for our group to earn back a portion of the proceeds from the ticket sales.
