Student Shout Outs!
We want to celebrate BIG things our students are doing at AMS!

This week we celebrated 4 students nominated by teachers.
Quinn M nominated by Coach Faith for Outstanding academic responsibility, contagious positive attitude and showing kindness to others.

Tinley T nominated by Mrs Nick for her leadership in organizing and promoting Student Council Events.

Levi W nominated by Mrs Whisenhunt for consistently helping clean up the classroom after Construction and Design projects including properly storing equipment.

Ayden F nominated by New Deal ISD for Outstanding Sportsmanship Quoted from an email: I wanted to take a moment to recognize #9 on Abernathy’s 7th-grade team for demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship at last night’s game!
Anytime a player from either team was slow to get up, he was the first to offer a hand and help them to their feet. When a player made a great play or a good run, #9 was right there with a high five or a pat on the back to celebrate their efforts. I simply wanted to make sure someone knew what a great example he set for his teammates and everyone watching.
