Call them between classes or while you’re doing something random—don’t wait for the “perfect time.”

In college, it’s easy to think you need a long, deep catch-up, so you keep putting it off. But honestly, a quick “hey, I was just thinking about you—how are you?” While you’re walking to class or sitting in your car is enough.

Everyone’s busy, everyone’s a little all over the place, and no one expects a full life update. It’s more about staying connected than saying something meaningful.

If you wait until you have time, you probably won’t. Just call anyway—it keeps your friendships from turning into “we should hang out soon” people.

Tip Tuesday!

Spring break was fun… now let’s reset. Take a few minutes to plan your week before it plans you—write down assignments, test dates, and priorities in a planner or notes app so nothing sneaks up on you. It’ll make getting back into the swing of things way less overwhelming and a lot more manageable.

Keeping a few emergency basics in your car or backpack can make a big difference when the weather turns bad. Items like gloves, a warm hat, snacks, and a portable phone charger can help you stay comfortable and prepared if you get stuck in the cold, delayed on the road, or waiting longer than expected between classes. Having these small essentials on hand helps you stay safe, warm, and connected, especially during unpredictable winter weather.

After a little break we are back with Tip Tuesday—Take more pictures and make more memories. Life moves quickly, and the little moments that seem ordinary now often become the ones you cherish the most later. Whether it’s a simple day with friends, family gatherings, or new experiences, capturing those memories helps you hold onto them as time passes.
