The Aberdeen Area Humane Society is in search of an Animal Care Technician(32 to 40 hours a week)!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
--Provide daily care to shelter animals (large and small) including feeding, grooming and proper medical care.
--Cleaning and disinfecting of kennel and public areas following sanitization and disease control protocols.
--Laundering animal blankets, beds and toys.
--Conduct adoption visits and consultations.
--Ensure animals entering the shelter have appropriate records and assist with return to owner process.
--Interact with volunteers and the public.
--Duties, responsibilities or qualifications may change at any time, with or without notice and the employee is expected to perform all other duties as assigned by the shelter manager.
--Regular and predictable attendance is required, with scheduled shifts of 8am-5pm(with possibility of overtime past 5pm).

Rolling interviews will be held at the Doeden Family Animal Shelter on Friday, June 16th from 1-4pm. Pay dependent on experience.

If you are unable to make interviews on the 16th, please call the shelter and speak with Elaine.
