Meet Makayla Kopp, a psychology and nursing major! A fun fact about Makayla is that she loves sunsets more than anything and has definitely had her share of crazy experiences—she tore her ACL one year and the next year broke both her tibia and fibula. If she could travel anywhere in the world, she wouldn’t actually choose a typical vacation spot; she’d make a long trip to heaven to give her dad a big hug. Her advice to students is to join clubs, get involved, and step out of your comfort zone—invest in your time here and make it your home! Her go-to coffee is anything sweet and iced, and she LOVES popcorn. If she could have any superpower, she’d choose teleportation so she could go from one place to another in the snap of a finger. During her workday, she can’t go without music—and good coworkers! When it comes to entertainment, Up is her favorite movie, she’ll watch pretty much anything medical, and as for books… you probably won’t catch her reading!

Meet Brandon Lee, a Business Administration student. One fun fact about Brandon is that he has 8 dogs! If he could travel anywhere in the world, he would choose Japan because he thinks it’s beautiful. His advice to students is simple: “You only live once, so live it right.” When it comes to snacks, Brandon’s go-to choices are Slim Jims and honey buns. If he could have any superpower, he’d want to be able to talk to animals—which would definitely come in handy with eight dogs! His must-have item during the workday is his phone. When he’s relaxing, one of his favorite movie series is How to Train Your Dragon.

Meet Carly Bierman, a Master’s in Education with a focus in Leadership and Administration student in the Class of 2028. One fun fact about Carly is that she gets really excited about starting a new book or creating a well-organized Excel spreadsheet. If she could travel anywhere in the world, she would choose Scotland because her family has a connection to Brodie Castle through her mom’s side of the family. Her advice to students is to get comfortable with being uncomfortable, because that’s when growth happens. Her go-to Starbucks order is a venti caramel macchiato with sugar-free syrup, almond milk, and no drizzle. If she could have any superpower, she would choose the ability to clone herself during career events! She also can’t go through a workday without her Post-it Notes—if her desk is any indication, she definitely keeps 3M in business. When she’s not working or studying, you can probably find her watching her favorite movie, Grease.
