To the caregiver of the student who asked if he could use LAST WEEK'S trash takeout chore for his HOME kindness: he was told he should do it again this week just to be sure it counts. 😁

Hey Holgate families, did you know our PTA treasurer, Jessica Hagen, will be inducted into the CHS Hall of Fame? She was part of the 2002 Golden Eagles volleyball team. They were the first ever girls' team to win a state title in school history!

She and her teammates will be recognized at tonight's Homecoming game and will be honored tomorrow night at the Hall of Fame banquet!

Congratulations to the 2002 State AA Champion Volleyball Team, who will be inducted into the 2026 Aberdeen Central High School Hall of Fame for Athletics on September 19, 2026.

The first ever Golden Eagles girls’ team in school history to win a state title! Playing in the fall of 2002, they were 39-3 on the season, won the ESD title, and did not lose a set during the state tournament.

https://thesmarttalk.org/ is a free tool that helps students of all grades and their parents and caregivers have positive, proactive technology conversations and set healthy digital limits together.

https://screenready.att.com/ provides resources, tips, and tools to help you and your family build confidence using technology, practice healthy digital habits, and fully participate in today’s connected world.

https://www.pta.org/home/programs/connected/create-with-kindness brings students (13+) and their parents and caregivers together for an open and interactive discussion about their online experiences. It will also equip families with practical information and resources to enhance online safety.

National PTA and its constituent associations will continue to support efforts to ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive digital experience for all children, youth, and families, fostering learning and healthy lifestyles and ensuring they are equipped with the technological literacy and access to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
