My journey in early childhood education began with a passion for nurturing the potential within every child. At Open Arms Child Care LLC, I believe that every child is a unique individual with limitless potential. I provide a nurturing and safe environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. It is this passion that forms the bedrock of my daycare’s philosophy. My philosophy, at Open Arms Child Care LLC, is that learning is ongoing through hands-on open-ended exploring and discovery. My home childcare strives for a safe and nurturing environment for children to play and grow. I have an emphasis on American Sign Language to help build communication and social interaction within children. My curriculum is designed to stimulate curiosity and creativity, and a commitment to fostering social and emotional development. My goal is to not only help a child learn and grow, but to foster a collaboration between families and my childcare. I am here to support the whole child and that includes their families too. With this collaboration children can build confidence, develop important social-emotional skills, and be fully prepared for kindergarten and beyond. I feel so lucky to be part of their early learning journey!
