🍎✨ Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week ✨🍎

This week, the PTO had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our incredible teachers and staff for all they do each and every day for our students and school community! Because of the amazing support from our families and the funds raised throughout the year, we were able to spoil them all week long with special treats and surprises. 💙

☕ Monday — Muffins & coffee from DeLucia’s Bakery
🌮 Tuesday — A delicious taco bar from Carmelita’s
💧 Wednesday — A refreshing water bar
🍋 Thursday — Lemonade & “dirty sodas” from Billie’s Bougie Lemonade
🎁 Friday — Target gift cards & notebooks for every teacher

To make the week even more special, each group of teachers also enjoyed breakfast outings throughout the week at Betsy’s Crepes. 🥞✨

Thank you to everyone who supports our PTO events and fundraisers throughout the year. Your generosity allows us to show our appreciation for the amazing educators and staff who pour so much into our children every single day. ❤️

💡 STEM Gets a Makeover — Thanks to You!! 💡

We’re thrilled to share one of the incredible ways your support is making a direct impact at TAMC! Thanks to the generous funds raised through our PTO, Mrs. Locke’s STEM room received a major makeover!

The new STEM room officially opened after Fall Break, and it has been buzzing with excitement ever since. Mrs. Locke shared how grateful she is for the PTO’s help in funding many of the amazing additions that have completely transformed the space. This support is making a real difference — enhancing hands-on learning, sparking problem-solving, and encouraging students to explore the wonderful world of STEM in brand-new ways!

Here’s a peek at some of the incredible materials now being used in the classroom:

⚡ Circuits & Coding: Students are diving into electricity and coding with Snap Circuits, Squishy Circuits, Sphero LittleBits, Makey Makey, and Micro:Bits. These tools help students at every grade level understand circuit basics, then go beyond — solving problems, creating inventions, and coding their own projects!

🧩 Building & Engineering: New sets like Strawbees, Off Bits, K’nex, and Goobi are sparking endless creativity. Students are building, designing, and even combining their constructions with coding and stop-motion animation.

🤖 Robotics: From Tale Bots and Ozobots to Lego Essentials, Robo Wunderkind, and Sphero Bolts, our students are learning everything from unplugged coding to block and scratch programming, bringing their ideas to life!

We’re so proud to see your contributions at work and be able to create spaces that inspire young minds and build future innovators.
