Leticia served as PTK's 2023-2024 International Vice President of Division II and will receive a two-year transfer scholarship of up to $30,000 each academic year. ⁠

The Grays Harbor Community Foundation Announces 2024 Dr. Scott A. Weatherwax Memorial University of Puget Sound $80,000 Scholarship Recipient- Peyton Damasiewicz Montesano High School Class of 2024

The Dr. Scott A. Weatherwax Memorial University of Puget Sound Scholarship was established in 2014 for students pursing studies at the University of Puget Sound, with a preference for those studying science. The scholarship is an annual award of $20,000 per year and is renewable for an additional three years.

This year’s recipient, Montesano High School senior, Peyton Damasiewicz will attend UPS in the fall to pursue studies in English and Pre-Law. His goal is to become a lawyer and come back to Grays Harbor to work at his grandfather's law firm. .

Peyton said of the award: "The scholarship is important to me because it will allow me to get a very high level education while also being able to play sports at college without worrying about having a lot of college debt."

Congrats on your award, Peyton and we look forward to following you along the way!

The deadline at Grays Harbor College to qualify for that will be November 21st. Don't wait this is a great opportunity. Even if you are not a current PTK member you can still apply.
