Last week, the McNair staff and six of their scholars participated in a 2.5-day Research Institute and Orientation organized by the Director and Coordinator. During this event, scholars learned about the research process and what it entails. They also enjoyed a wonderful cultural experience at a local Peruvian restaurant, heard presentations from campus professors about their research, and received a behind-the-scenes look at being a curator at the Dacotah Prairie Museum. The McNair staff is looking forward to hosting this event again next year for their scholars!
