We had a successful kickoff to our new school year!
We started the school year with our Million Father March.
Students began learning in the classrooms through partner and small group work.
Our fifth graders tended to our school garden.
We ended the week with our Pre-K play date.
We are looking forward to planning, practicing, and persevering for the 2026-2027 school year!

Our teachers are back, and they are already getting their game on!

Today was all about preparing, planning, collaborating, and getting classrooms ready for an incredible year ahead. From setting up learning spaces to diving into our goals and all the exciting things we have in store for our students, our staff is ready to make this year one to remember!

We can’t wait to see all of our Broncos and their families at our Open House/Back to School Night on August 27th from 5:30 to 7.

Bakerfield Elementary had SO much to celebrate this week!
Last night at the HCPS Celebration of Excellence in Education, two of our own were recognized in a big way. Congratulations to Mrs. Sieracki for winning Assistant Principal of the Year!! Your passion and dedication make you an amazing leader for our school.
Ms. Laurence, paraeducator, was awarded Education Support Professional of the Year! Ms. Laurence is a super star. She truly shows what it means to be a part of a community.
Ms. Snyder was one of the Teacher of the Year Nominees. Your energy and light bring sunshine to Kindergarten each day.
Ms.Betsy, our school nurse, was also nominated for Student Services Professional of the year to recognize her compassion and commitment to keeping our students healthy and safe.
Congratulations! We’re so proud to call each of you a part of Bronco Nation!
