Today in Cyber Foundations, our students learned about the characteristics of effective leadership and personal development. After the lesson, they put their skills to the test with the Spaghetti Marshmallow Challenge! Divided into teams, the students had 20 minutes to build a stable tower using 25 sticks of uncooked spaghetti, one yard of string, three yards of tape, and one large marshmallow. It was a fantastic exercise in teamwork and creativity!

College Day/College Wear Wednesdays have been implemented to promote college awareness, spark conversations about college experiences, and introduce students to new colleges they may have never heard of before implementing College Day in the Aberdeen School District. It’s a fantastic way to explore the many options available for higher education and inspire our students to think about the exciting possibilities that lie ahead.
