Federal TRIO Programs, as defined by the Department of Education, are Federal outreach and student services programs designed to identify and provide services for low-income individuals, first generation college students, and individuals with disabilities. The goal of these programs is to progress disadvantaged students through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-secondary programs.

Through a variety of workshops and keynote speakers, the Civic Leadership Conference will strengthen student’s leadership styles and how to become an advocate for important issues that TRIO students face.
