TRIO SSS is excited to welcome Northern’s new TRIO McNair Scholars Program! This program is federally funded and aims to empower and support students to explore, gain admission to, and excel in graduate studies.

To do this, the Program offers the following resources to students:

Each year, TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) proudly acknowledges students for their exemplary community service contributions, alongside those who successfully complete our comprehensive LEAD program. This program encompasses attending two workshops, two peer mentor events, and completing two online Money Skills modules for both the Fall and Spring semesters.

Sending a big thanks to all who joined us at the School of the Blind on Wednesday evening for the Sensory Friendly Egg Hunt! Where our TRIO SSS students and mentors
put their hearts into stuffing and hiding eggs to help create a delightful experience filled with joy and laughter for the students and families of the School for the Blind! We had a blast making memories! We hope to see you all again at this event next year!

As a college student your time can be divided by many different responsibilities which is why being able to effectively use your time wisely is such an important skill to hone. This Micro-Credentialing workshop tomorrow, Thursday, March 21st will teach you how to get the most out of your time with the aid of Chat GPT.
