APG (Aberdeen Proving Ground) STEM Day:
Saturday, September 26, 2026, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

APG STEM Day is a hands-on, interactive event designed to spark curiosity and celebrate the importance of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) across our community.

During the event, attendees of all ages will have the opportunity to engage directly with Army scientists, engineers, and innovators who are working on real-world challenges and emerging technologies.

Attention families of incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten students! Harford County Public Schools has a gradual entry schedule to help your child ease into the new school year.

Pre-K gradual entry dates are Tuesday, September 8 or Wednesday, September 9, with the first full day of school on Thursday, September 10.

Kindergarten gradual entry dates are Tuesday, September 1 or Wednesday, September 2, with the first full day of school on Thursday, September 3.

Your child's elementary school will communicate the specific date. Please note that no transportation is provided on gradual entry dates.

💜 Girls on the Run 5K Celebration! 💜

We are so proud of our Girls on the Run team who completed the GOTR 5K on Saturday, May 16th at Perryville Community Park!

Our girls started the season with a goal to complete a 5K and worked hard every step of the way to achieve it.

Their determination, confidence, and teamwork truly shined as they crossed the finish line! Each step they took was a reminder of their hard work, perseverance, and the powerful message that they can do hard things.

A big thank you to our families, running buddies and supporters who cheered them on every step of the way. Your encouragement made this experience even more special!

Way to go, girls—you are strong, confident, and unstoppable! ✨

🚲💙 Wish for Wheels Visit! 💙🚲

On Wednesday, Wish for Wheels visited our school and gifted every second grader a brand‑new bike and helmet! With the help of 18 volunteers, 85 bikes were assembled in about an hour, and students got to choose a bike and have it fitted just for them.

Thank you to Wish for Wheels and the incredible volunteers for your generosity and for making this such a joyful day for our second grade students! 💛
