Aberdeen Kids Are Music will begin again in the Fall on Wed Sept 1, 2021. Auditions by appt during August. Contact me (Julie) here for an appt! This season will go Sept-Nov with 2 performances in Dec. the following season will be Feb-April with 2 performances in May. Tuition is $35 a month.

We had a fantastic performance season with these enthusiastic, talented kids!!! What a joy to work with humans who love to sing and love to work hard! I’m so proud of these kids!

Now auditioning for the Spring season, for students 8 yrs old and up. (Some exceptions for younger students). This season will run Feb 3-May 5th. Rehearsals are every Wednesday 3:30-4:30 in the Aberdeen Middle school music room. Tuition is $35, with family discounts available. If your child LOVES to sing, this children’s choir is for you!

Aberdeen Kids Are Music is a privately owned choir directed by Julie Millett, and accompanied by Wayne Millett. We learn and perform a variety of music from all different eras and genres. Some of our favorites for this season are patriotic, musicals, silly and serious stuff. We teach basic music skills, and sing 2 and 3 part harmonies. We LOVE to sing!! Come join us! Kids Are Music Jr had their first recital last night! What a joy they are, and what a talented little bunch of munchkins!! They did so well and I'm so proud of all their hard work! Congratulations Kids Are Music Jr!! I'm so proud of you all!!

ABERDEEN KIDS ARE MUSIC CHILDREN’S CHOIR
GENERAL INFORMATION

What is Kids Are Music?
Kids Are Music is a community children’s choir.
It’s purpose is to provide a safe place for students to
learn good quality music in a positive atmosphere, to
help them develop their musical talents, and to build a
bond with like minded students.

Who is it for?
Kids 2nd grade through 8th grade ages, who
love to sing! Even if they are a bit shy, this is a great
place to find their voices, in a group of others who love
to sing!

How much does it cost?
Tuition is $30.00 a month. There is a
$10.00 fee due at auditions, which includes
a Kids are Music t-shirt. Also there is a minimal
cost for performance attire.

When/Where are rehearsals?
Rehearsals are each Wednesday from 3:30
to 4:30, right after school. They are held in the
Middle School Music Room.

Does the group perform?
Yes. Performances will all be local, and are
during the months of June & Dec, depending on the
season. Performances are limited to 3-4 per
season.

How does the schedule work for the year?
There are 2 seasons:
Fall/Winter & Spring/Summer. Students can join us and
Leave us in between these two seasons, but not during.
Fall/Winter - Rehearse Sept – Nov, Perform in December.
Spring/Summer – Rehearse Feb – May – Perform in June.

How do I join?!
We hold a very low key audition, which simply is
we listen to your child sing a song of their own choosing.
You would need to contact us for that audition time and date.
Rehearsals begin the first Wednesday of September.
