Chelsea Nguyen recently graduated from Northern with her master's degree in music education. To her, the MME program was an indispensable part of her training as a music educator:
"The Master of Music Education program went above and beyond what I expected from it. The program changed the way I view music education and how I teach my students. The program not only provided me with opportunities to practice new pedagogies, but to learn from my amazing classmates from all around the world. This program is unique. Lastly, this program has renewed my excitement and increased my confidence in being a music educator."

Brooke L Palleschi graduated from NSU in the Spring with her MSEd in Teaching and Learning. She is nothing but grateful to have completed her master's education at Northern:
"Northern State University's Master of Teaching and Learning program has not only helped me excel in the classroom as a high school English teacher but has prepared me for my new position as a continuous school improvement instructional coach. Throughout the program, I gained experience working and deciphering data resulting in positive changes in student achievement in my classroom. Additionally, this program allowed me to gain more confidence in working with students with special needs, ensuring that adaptations and modifications were adequately implemented and providing the tools to successfully work with our special education team. Lastly, I have the knowledge and the skills to evaluate curriculum and provide insight into whether the curriculum meets our school district's needs. I gained valuable knowledge and experience throughout my master's program at Northern State University."
