Hope Squad at Grays Harbor College

Hope Squad is a peer-to-peer su***de prevention program. Members strive to:

Create a safe campus environment
Promote college and community connections
Support anti-bullying
Encourage mental wellness
Reduce the mental health stigma

We are recruiting officers and members for the 2023-2024 school year.

Hope Squad is one of the largest peer-based su***de prevention groups utilizing research into mental health to help stop student su***de. If you are interested in becoming a member or an officer, please email [email protected]. or send us a message.

achieving your goals, and enhancing your overall well-being.

Join Hope Squad for a "Note to Self" activity where you can write affirmations and kind notes to yourself and your peers. You can keep your notes or post them around Student Life.

When: Monday, 2/13
Where: Student Life DEC--1st floor of the 4000 Building
Time: 10AM-1PM

We are close to the end of the quarter and holidays, which can be stressful for many. As students, checking in with yourself and your peers is important. Why?

"Mental health check-ins can help students get in touch with their emotions, refresh and recharge, acknowledge and cope with negative thoughts and overwhelming feelings, and be more focused throughout the day."
