What a weekend for our Bobcat girls at the 2026 Braided 64!
This group showed grit, heart, and pure fight from the first whistle to the last match. So proud of every athlete who stepped on the mat and battled for Aberdeen.

🔥 Big shout-outs:

💪 Xela Kowoosh (120 lbs)
Went on an absolute TEAR with 4 straight wins, including two major decisions and a clutch 3-1 win over Redmond — and she did it while beating multiple STATE PLACERS along the way. That’s elite-level wrestling right there.

💪 Brooklyn Brown (125 lbs)
Two huge pins and a deep run — never backing down from anyone.

💪 Paisley Floch (115 lbs)
Picked up multiple wins including a big pin and showed true toughness against top-tier competition.

💪 Kayleen Rouska (135 lbs)
One of the most exciting runs of the day — 3 straight pins in consolation after a tough first match. Pure heart and hustle.

💪 Micah Turpin (100 lbs)
Two lightning-fast pins (0:36 and 0:26!) and fought her way through the bracket.

💪 Kamryn Turpin (115 lbs)
Bounced back with a big pin and kept pushing through tough opponents.

💪 Valeria Aguilar-Arana (145 lbs)
Two pins on the day and nonstop aggression.

💪 Sophia Rico (170 lbs)
Opened strong with a first-round pin and took on some of the toughest competition in the field.

💪 Lander Floch, Taylor Hatton, Daisy & Dahly Vessey, and Camryn Wright
Every one of these athletes gained invaluable mat time against some of the best in the state — growth you can’t measure on a bracket.

This team fights for each other.
They fight for their school.
And they never back down.

Ready to hit the mat? Our new youth wrestling program is the perfect way to test the waters before committing to a full season.

It's a fantastic chance for your child to discover if wrestling is their sport!
For returning wrestlers, this is your prime opportunity to refresh and sharpen your skills before the season officially begins.

Our coaches bring years of high-level wrestling and coaching experience to the mat, ready to guide every participant.
