Introducing PIZZA SHOP BOSS….a hands-on math experience where students will use REAL math while running their own pretend pizza shop.

They’ll calculate orders, work with money, solve real-life math problems…and YES… make their own pizza! 🍕

⏱️ STUDENT SUCCESS Try the 10-Minute Start Trick!

Sometimes the hardest part of homework isn’t the work… it’s actually starting it. 😩😂

So here’s the trick: tell yourself, “I’m only doing 10 minutes.”

That feels way less painful than thinking about the whole assignment.

And once you get started? You may realize it wasn’t as bad as you thought… and you might even keep going. 👀

Small steps. Big progress. 💙💛

Parents, you know the struggle. 😂 Sometimes our kids don’t need us to give them the answer. They need to learn that asking for help is part of learning.

🎯 STUDENT SUCCESS TIP TUESDAY

🙋🏽‍♀️ One of the strongest students in the room isn’t always the one who knows every answer…it’s the one who knows when to ASK.

Some students will sit confused for days because they’re afraid to raise their hand or admit they don’t understand.

Teach your child this simple phrase:

“Can you explain that another way?”

That one sentence can keep a small misunderstanding from becoming a much bigger learning gap.

Student success isn’t about knowing everything. It’s about learning how to get the help you need.

At the Academic Success Lounge, we want students to become comfortable asking questions, speaking up, and taking ownership of their learning.

Parents, encourage your child to ask ONE question this week in a class where they need more clarity. 💙

📚 A messy backpack can turn into a messy grade.

Loose papers, forgotten worksheets, lost permission slips, and missing assignments often start with poor organization.

Help your child do a quick 10-minute backpack reset once a week:

✅ Throw away trash
✅ File returned papers
✅ Check for unfinished work
✅ Restock pencils and supplies
✅ Review upcoming deadlines

Organization may seem small, but it can make a huge difference in student success.
