This workforce development and career exploration event will connect industry and community partners with up to 1,000 middle and high school students, 100+ educators and representatives from more than 25 schools. Participants can showcase their work, share career opportunities and demonstrate how STEM is transforming modern agriculture.

Students can now take exciting field trips to HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology Wiregrass at the new Wiregrass Innovation Center AND The ATTA Library of STEM & History.

Do you know any other STEM-related field trip locations in Southeast Alabama for middle/high school students? If yes, tag them below!

A science research institute here in the Wiregrass is welcoming schools to register for fall field trips, giving students a chance to explore the facility and learn about careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

Through iSTEM Alabama, The ATTA team connected with Auburn’s Geo Explorer Labs program. At Dream It, Do It Day, Geo Explorer connected with the The Army Aviation Museum Foundation, and today, those connections created another hands-on STEM opportunity for local students!

When we bring organizations together, we expand our reach, share resources, and create a much greater impact.

That’s what Southeast Alabama STEM is all about. 🚁🌎🔬

THIS is exactly what the Southeast Alabama STEM Learning Network is all about.

Dream It, Do It Day brought students face-to-face with real careers—from robotics and healthcare to aviation, agriculture, and advanced manufacturing.

They weren’t just walking through booths. They were engaged, asking questions, and seeing what’s possible for their future.

And they showed up ready. Some traveled hours just to be there.

This is what workforce development looks like in Southeast Alabama—students connected to real opportunities, supported by a community that shows up.

There is a real need for more moments like this, and we’re working together to make that happen.
